The Visitor's Choice Award was sponsored jointly by Visit Cheshire and Chester and Vale Royal Borough Council and voted for solely by the readers of the Mid Cheshire Guardians, its websites and visitors to the attractions themselves.

The award was presented by the Chief Executive of Visit Cheshire and Chester, Chris Brown

The winner of the award was The Old Fire Station Chocolate Shop

Voters were asked to nominate their favourite places to visit in the Vale Royal area including visitor attractions, restaurants, walks – the list was endless.
